Client Login and New Account website administration procedures

Customer / Client Accounts

Existing Customers can “Sign In” to their Customer Account to edit or update details at any time.

Once “Signed In” the client then has the option to edit their Name, Email Address, agreement to receive Email Newsletters, Delivery Address and Telephone Contact Number. An Order History is saved for each individual customer.

Create New Account

New website visitors have the option to create a New Account.

New Account Email Notifications

Upon each New Customer Signup an email message is sent to the Website Administrator.

The New Customer also receives a message asking that they please confirm their email address.

Once the new customer clicks the link to confirm their Email Address for News Articles, they are directed back to your website where they will see a “Thank You” message. They are also asked to “Sign In” and enter their Address and Telephone details.

After a New Account has been created, Login to the Ecommerce Templates Administration Panel. Notice that a number is now displayed under the “Client login” link.

Provided the New Client ticked the box to authorise their Newsletter subscription, a number will be displayed under the “Mailing List” link as well.

Click either of those links to view the respective List.

Client Login Administration

Click the List Results button to display all of your current Customers.

You can “Search” for any particular Name or Email Address.

You can Modify details contained in any Customer Account, or Delete an Account.

Unfortunately it is not possible to Export a list of Customers to a “csv” file at the present time.

You can Filter the Client List by Date Added range. This is particularly useful to find the new account added today.

Click the New Client Login button to manually add a New Customer, including a Password which you would need to advise that Customer about.

It would be far better to ask new customers to visit the website and create a New Account themselves.
